Painting and this and that! :)
Still painting, painting and more painting! Though haven’t had much painting time the past few days I have had a few hours to work on a house portrait that I have been juggling in between paintings for Perfectly Polish. I will be finished with the house portrait today and getting it to my friend and previous neighbor tomorrow. It will be a gift to her for everything she did for us as we left Germany. I hope she likes it!
We had a warm snap for a bit and it was kind of nice not having to manage a fire, but I love the smell of a fire burning. I hate that I have to vacuum constantly from all the wood pieces and everything that tracks in the house. I think I need a solid day to clean the house top to bottom.. Will need to take a break next week between painting and put one whole day and get my house sparkly!
We have company coming soon, so I need some really productive painting days in these next 2 weeks!
Anyway, I have many paintings to do. My next painting I’ll start will be a Christmas painting for Perfectly Polish, and I have more Polish Pottery stills to do, a commission, I have 2 pet portraits to do. Heck.. what am I doing here?? I need to be painting! :0) My goal is to have constant EBay auctions running and add to my Etsy store more paintings. I think now that we have done so much with our new house things should calm down here (i hope) that I will get more painting time in. Hope to have a new Ebay auction up in the next week and will be doing Nibblefest this month also. I need more hours in the day to do it all! LOL!
The family is doing great just busy busy! Gumbo is constantly getting in trouble, he’s pure puppy! He’s 7 mos old now. I took this photo of him and I thought he looked so regal in it!
Here’s some paintings I have done since I last posted. These were done exclusively for Perfectly Polish. The chicken paintings are all mini paintings or mini for me at least! They are all 5×5’s.
This one is one I am really pleased with

That is the one problem with making a living at being an artist, having to sell your stuff. i have known lots of good artists who just could not get a grip on the buisness end of it.
